GRADE 1 B , LESSON 1

Happy Sunday everyone!

Good morning GRADE 1B! ( Greeting you in singing manner in the tune of “Skip to my Lou”) Hope you reply in singing manner too.

I know all of you are doing a lots of job working from home! Keep up the effort- as I always say- GRADE 1 YOU ARE AWESOME!!!

LESSON :  MELODY/PITCH

I.               LESSON  OBJECTIVES :

                At the end of the lesson the students will be able to:

1.     perform, listen to KODALY HAND SIGN
2.    develop, alone and with others, in-tune and expressive singing .
3.    Sing a song in solfa syllables ( do, re, mi, fa, so , la, ti, )  and with hand signs

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

1.     Click the link provided on each activity, watch the video and follow along with it.
2.    You can do this lesson anytime during this week and repeat the video until you master the given activity.
3.    You can ask your siblings to sing, play and master the hand sign in music.

II. LESSON PROPER

It’s BRAIN SMART SONG time! It’s BRAIN SMART SONG time! So move your body while I move mine. Move your hands. Move your feet. Stand up, bend your knees, wave you hands and get ready to dance with GUMMY BEAR.


I feel that we are all energized by now and to get the excitement level down, let's BREATHE. Remember to breathe three times SLOWLY so that all the oxygen can go into your brains and they are ready to learn!

We are ready to learn now.
This week our music is all about the Melody/Pitch
Let’s listen to HAND SIGN and try to copy the hand signals. When we listen, we imagine that the melody goes up and down.
